My Story
A late-life calling, decades in the making.
I didn't set out to become a songwriter. For most of my life, music lived quietly inside me — in the hymns I sang as a girl, in the lullabies I hummed to my own children, in the prayers I whispered during seasons I never thought I'd survive.
It wasn't until later in life that the songs began to ask to be written down. Not for fame. Not for attention. But because I had lived enough, lost enough, healed enough, and learned enough to believe my reflections might matter to someone else.

Why I Write
I write because I believe that every experience in life has a lesson, and every lesson has the power to help someone else. My songs are reflections of real life — the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the painful.
If my words can encourage one heart, heal one soul, or make someone feel a little less alone, then every song is worth it. That is not a tagline. It is the only reason I sit down to write.
